[Japan] A wonderful photo album promoting the products imported and exported by Winkel & Gedde Ltd. of Kobe. The 1920 Japan Directory lists the company at 84B Yedo-machi in Kobe with their head office in Copenhagen and the manager as O. Gedde, the sub-manager P. Hammerich and Kay Aage Neckelman is also listed as an employee. The album begins with a photo of 'Management', which is presumably a photo of Gedde at his desk. Then we see photos of the departments of the company as well as some of the employees inspecting products for quality. The majority of the album contains photos of the various products the company dealt in such as hats, baskets, brushes, combs, trays, lacquer ware, ceramics, and even children's toys. The photos are mounted one to a page on one side only.
