Woodblock Print from 'Thirty Six Tokyo Restaurants' series The Sumiyasu restaurant in Himonocho
[Japan] From the wonderful series by Toyohara Kunichika (1835-1900), this woodblock print shows the geisha named Kogiku (on the left) getting ready to perform at the restaurant accompanied by her tsuzumi drumming assistant.
