Japanese Calendar with Verses by Osman Edwards
[Japan] One of Hasegawa's more popular designs that features a lovely, Japanese woodblock print by Ogata Gekkō (1859-1912) of a maple tree next to a river (see final photo for an image of the actual print). Osman Edwards (1864-1936) collaborated with Hasegawa to produce a couple of other nice works on crepe paper around the same time as he was only in Japan for about six months in 1898.
