Large Format Photo of Kyoto Street taken by Baron Raimund von Stillfried
[Japan] Very nice, hand-coloured albumen photo of a street in Kyoto. Stillfried was one of the first Western photographers to visit Kyoto as foreigners were not allowed to go there until after the small, 1871 exposition that was held there. Titled, 'KIOTO 331' at lower left in negative.
