Early Russian vocabulary study book for Japanese by Oshima Ryoichi
[Japan] Very scarce book aimed at Japanese people learning the Russian language in the early Meiji era. Titled in Japanese, 'Rogaku Nyūmon - Rogo Chūso', this is most likely the first Russian-Japanese vocabulary book to be published in the Meiji era in Japan. Very little seem to be known about the author Ōshima Ryōichi. Only four copies at institutes in Japan and one at Ohio State University.
