Group of 3 Single Yokohama-e Woodblock Prints by Utagawa Hiroshige II and III
[Japan] Three single panels from three different Yokohama-e triptychs. The first (of the ship) is the right panel from a triptych by Hiroshige III titled, 'Yokohama Kaigan-dori no Shinkei' ['A Precise Description of Waterfront Street in Yokohama'], that was published in May 1872. The second (showing part of a Western building) is right panel of a triptych also by Hiroshige III titled, 'Yokohama Kakkuni Shōkan no Zu' ['Trading House of Various Countries in Yokohama'], published in May 1871. The final print is right panel of a triptych by Hiroshige II titled, 'Yokohama Ijinkan no Zu' ['A Foreigner's Residence in Yokohama'], published in October 1861.
Each approx. 36 x 24cm.
In very good condition. Some minor wear and a few small marks and chips at edges. All unbacked with nice bleedthrough. u31040326
