Group of 8 Woodblock Prints by Kuniteru Showing Japanese tradesmen at work
[Japan] A nice group of eight woodblock prints that appear to be post-war (probably from the 1960s) that depict various Japanese building and carpentry scenes. The originals were by Utagawa Kuniteru II (1830-1874) and it is easy to see why they were reproduced with re-cut woodblocks.
Publisher unknown. c1960. Each approx. 35.5 x 24.2cm.
All in fine condition with almost no wear. All unbacked with nice bleedthrough. u36031584
