[Japan] Lovely, large format showing the interior of the popular and well-known Japanese art and antique shop of Kuhn & Komor. The shop is filled with ceramics, bronzes, silk paintings and more. Moritz Kuhn founded Kuhn & Co. in Yokohama in 1869. Siegfried Komor, Moritz's nephew, came to Japan in 1887 and was employed by Moritz there. In 1890, Arthur Kuhn, Moritz's son, came to Japan and started to work with his father and cousin. In 1894, Siegfried Komor and Arthur Kuhn founded "Kuhn & Komor" in Yokohama. Titled, 'Kuhn & Komor. Water Street Yokohama' in negative at lower right.
