Cabinet Card of Japanese Maid and Western Baby by Stillfried of Yokohama
[Japan] A nice example of one of Baron Raimund von Stillfried's cabinet card photos taken in Yokohama. The photos shows a Japanese nanny or amah with a Western baby on her lap. We presume the baby is French as the photo was found with a group of photos of other unidentified French people. Stillfried left Japan in 1881 so the photo pre-dates that year.
