Large Format Photo of Bansuirō Fukuzumi Ryokan Hand-coloured albumen print
[Japan] Impressive, very early, uncoloured photo that appears to show the second building of the Fukuzumi Ryokan being built in Tōnosawa, Hakone. Bansuirō is on the left and was completed in 1878. The ryokan dates back to 1625 and is still in business today.
