[Japan] A fine example of this beautifully illustrated, woodblock printed, Japanese fairy tale translated by American missionary David Thompson (1835-1915). Number 6 in Hasegawa's series, this early printing has 'Series' misspelt as 'Seriese' on the cover and 'eht' for 'the' on the Japanese colophon page.
