[Japan] Wonderful, hand-drawn and coloured manuscript book showing the various methods of food presentation and room decoration according to the Ogasawara School, or Ogasawara-ryu, founded in the 13th century. Its way of etiquette is still used by the Japanese Imperial Family today. The manuscript was written by a person named Shigenaga and is dated Tempo 7 (1836).

In good condition. Some minor worming that only affects the covers. Internally very good with only general age wear and a few very small worm trails. m31120427
