Eboshi Iwa near Enoshima Large format albumen photo
[Japan] Scarce view of the rock known as Eboshi Iwa which is located near Enoshima. The rock is similar in shape to a type of black, lacquered cap that was worn in the Heian era, known as an eboshi, hence the name. Two men and a boy appear to be enjoying a day on the rock. The final (website) photo shows the rock today. Captioned in the negative at lower right, 'Q76 EBOSHIYUWA (A ROCK) NEAR ENOSHIMA'.
