Book of 50 Woodblock Printed Samples of Hanten and Furoshiki by the famous Shirokiya Gofukuten
[Japan] Impressive and uncommon work containing a lovely selection of 50 designs of furoshiki and hanten. Designs range from those for hot springs, electric companies, Dunlop, and Seiko to shipping companies, clothing companies and more. Interestingly, there is also a design for the Taiwan Shōkō Ginkō (bank) with an outline map of Taiwan. The Japanese title is 'Shiroki Konomi' and the rear cover is embossed with the name Odakaya Somemonoten [Odakaya Dyeing Store].
