The Twelve Views of Mount Fuji by Hiroshige Complete Set by The Shimbi Shoin
[Japan] Very scarce, complete set of full-size, oban colour woodblock prints along with the main part of the original paper folder. It appears there was an English explanation page that is not present here, but supplied in facsimile. The page indicates the twelve views from the Old Tokaido as depicting Kawasaki, Totsuka, Fujisawa, Hiratsuka, Numazu, Hara, Yoshiwara, Kambara, Yui, Ejiri, Arai, and Goyu. This print set is mentioned in a 1908 Shimbi Shoin catalogue, indicating the set is from around that date. All the woodblock prints are unbacked as issued.
