Selection of One Hundred Lilies by the Yokohama Nursery Company
[Japan] Lovely book filled with colour lithographs of the numerous types of lilies available for export from Japan. One of the earliest known examples of these types of catalogues by The Yokohama Nursery Company which was founded in 1890. The Japanese title is 'Yuri Kasen'. Complete with 36 illustrations.

In good condition. Covers with some minor age wear, marks and chipping at edges, mostly corners. Some transfer of images to facing pages or from reverse side of pages, and darkening to some leaves, probably due to type of paper used and printing method. String binding as issued. b34121308
