Stereoview Photo of Tachi Kosaku Superb image
[Japan] Superb stereoview of Tachi Kosaku (1845-79), who was just 17 years old when he was sent as an interpreter with the First Japanese Embassy to Europe of 1862. He studied French. According to one source, the photo was taken in Nagasaki (possibly in photographer, Ueno Hikoma's garden) after Tachi returned from Europe.
