Evolution of the Gold Fish Varieties Typed manuscript by Stanley E. Wetmore

Showing How the Present Varieties of Gold Fish were Produced and Giving a Description of Same. Delivered in the English Class Room June 18, 1916. Interesting, informative, and nicely illustrated paper that looks at the geneology of gold fish and the different types that exist. On the evolution of the gold fish varieties, Wetmore addresses, 'Mr. Chairman, Miss de Angelis, and members of the class...' Presumably Miss de Angelis was his English teacher. One gets the sense that Wetmore may have lived in Japan and now lives in the United States, but this is unclear.
