Superb Set of 3 Woodblock Printed Kimono Design Books with 156 wonderful designs
[Japan] One of the most impressive complete sets of early, kimono design books in colour that we have seen. The books were edited and published by Yamanaka Kichirobei (1847-1917) of Osaka who was known as, 'The King of Antiques'. The Japanese title is 'Moyo Hinagata Naniwa no Ume'.

In very good condition. Minor wear to covers. General, minor age wear throughout. Volume 1 has old seal on front cover and previous owner's name written inside rear cover. Otherwise very good.
