Superb, large format photo of Yatobashi (Bridge), Yokohama Hand-coloured albumen photo
[Japan] Impressive, hand-coloured albumen photo showing Yatobashi in Yokohama near Motomachi. The bridge was originally wooden and the fourth iteration was built of iron in 1887. This photo is presumably of that bridge. Numbered in the negative at right, '507' in the style of Stillfried.
Probably by Baron Raimund von Stillfried and then Kusakabe Kimbei. c1887.
