Large format photo of a Blind Masseur and Client Hand-coloured albumen photo
[Japan] Interesting photo of a blind masseur, or 'amma', massaging the shoulders of a female client. Titled in negative at lower right, 'B1022 BLIND SHAMPOORER' [sic]. These masseurs also did head massages with aromatic oils, hence the shampooer name. Possibly by Farsari or Kajima Seibei, but this is as yet unknown.
