[Japan] Lovely, scarce guidebook published by The Welcome Society which was founded in 1893 by Eiichi Shibusawa and was the forerunner to the Japan Travel Bureau (JTB). Illustrated and with numerous advertisements of the day. The first edition of this guidebook was published in 1905 and this is the 6th edition, revised of 1907. This copy also contains a card from The Japan Society of New York which distributed the guidebook to members.
