Ikebana Manuscript with Hand-Drawn Arrangements Selections by Masters (Iemoto)
[Japan] Skillfully hand-drawn manuscript filled with an array of ikebana flower arrangements in various styles. Many have notes on the real name and artist name of the master who made an arrangement. Some have dates of when they were exhibited and the latest date is 1884. The last 15 pages has 30 illustrations of arrangements using Japanese irises (kakitsubata). The title slip reads 'Ikebana Zu' ['Illustrations of Ikebana']. The rear cover has the name Yamada Seizo written on it so he may have been the author.
