Early Pictorial English - Japanese Vocabulary Book by Inoue Renpei
[Japan] Interesting, illustrated English study book with words divided into different sections based on how they are pronounced in Japanese. This is the first volume and a second and third were apparently to be published as mentioned in the rear of this book. Woodblock pirnted book with a nice, double-page, colour illustration of a lady reading to two children. The illustrations are by Hasegawa Sadanobu and the Japanese title is, 'Seiyo Ebiki Setsuyoshu'.
