Manuscript books on Tengen Physiognomy 3 Books including one with movable wheel

Interesting matching trio of handwritten manuscript books on a form of physiognomy. Tengenjutsu was a type of a mathematical system that came to Japan from China. These books appear to be based on that. The wheel has twelve sections and there are the twelve faces with descriptions and age-based information about a person. One volume is dated 1910 and another has a date of 1925 so these would date from then. Name of Takahisa Genichiro written in rear who seems to have written these. Each volume has decorative silk covers.

Main volume 78pp. Smaller volumes 28pp and 2pp (with the movable wheel).

Each approx. 22 x 15.5cm.

In good to very good condition. Some wear to cover edges with minor fraying. Internally very good. The paper is gampi so is thin but strong. General age wear throughout.
