Large format photo of the Hakone Imperial Villa Destroyed in 1923 Kanto earthquake
Very nice, hand-coloured albumen photo showing the Hakone Imperial Villa [Japan] which was built in 1886. The villa was damaged in the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake and then again in the 1930 Kita Izu Earthquake. Titled, '550 PRINCE HAKONE' in negative at lower left.
