Complete volume containing 203 numbered, high quality lithographs of various establishments in Chiba prefecture including hotels, doctors, manufacturers, and other wealthy merchants' businesses. Preface by Shimada Saburo. Single lithographs occasionally appear but a complete volume is scarce. The Japanese title is 'Hakuran zu'. The contents page lists all 203 of the lithographs. Most are single page but some are double-page and others are fold-outs.

Covers worn, spotted and stained. Some pages are a bit creased. One lithograph has a small area of loss at lower corner and another foldout has a closed tear of about 5cm. Otherwise the lithographs are very good. The final lithograph listed in the contents (203) is large and has been bound between 199 and 200 for some reason. Otherwise very good. b32010465
