Wonderful complete set of 4 volumes of one of Bairei's masterpieces. With 200 colour woodblock printed illustrations of various flowers (50 in each volume), it is a comprehensive look at the flora of Japan. First published in 1890-91, this is the 1905 edition.

In very good condition. Vols 1-3 are near fine with only some mild wear to covers. Vol 4 has an old, small burn mark on the rear cover that affects the final 3 or 4 pages near the spine. All volumes have an ownership stamp of the Arita Seitosho (Arita Pottery Office). b31120429
