No.2 Oyeyama Oni Taidji - Au Bon Marche

 

Very scarce plain paper Japanese fairy tale in French.

 

From an obscure series of what was supposed to be a series of six Japanese fairy tales made for the famous French department store Au Bon Marche. This book is No.2 in the series although it appears only Nos. 1 & 2 were ever published. In the style of Hasegawa/Kobunsha but different. French translators' names written in kanji and one source claims they were Jules Adam and Joseph Dautremer.
