CDV of Bernard Petitjean taken by Victor Angerer
Fine carte-de-visite showing Bernard Petitjean (1829-84) who was the first vicar apostolic of Japan. This photo was taken when he returned to Europe (probably in the mid-1870s) and he died in Nagasaki in 1884. Inscribed on both sides with his name.
