[Report on the Exhibits]. Fascinating and complete set of 3 woodblock printed books illustrating 150 of the items that were exhibited at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition held in San Francisco in 1915. Each bound accordian style. Volume 1 also has 14 collotype photos of the expo lettered A-N and illustrations numbered 1-42. The illustrations in Volume 2 are numbered 43-104 and those in Volume 3 numbered 105-150.

Vol. 1 - 58pp. Vol. 2 - 62pp. Vol. 3 - 56pp. Each 25 x 18cm.

 

In very good condition overall. Volume 1 very good with previous Japanese owner's sticker on rear of one page ('From the collection of Ikeguchi') and small book seller's sticker inside rear cover. Minor wear. A few pages starting to separate. Volume 2 has one page half separated at edge but otherwise very good. Volume 3 has some minor creasing to the pages in the rear containing text. Also the page with the Kewpie Doll has a small area of abrasion. A few pages starting to separate at edge. Minor transfer of some images to facing pages.
