A cornucopia of fantastically bizarre artwork by Yoshiume (1819-79) who was from Osaka. The three books contain proverbs with matching humorous illustrations.

Vol. 1 - 68pp. Vol. 2 - 66pp. Vol. 3 - 66pp. Each 17.8 x 11cm.
In good condition. Covers worn with old title slips (probably rewritten). Wear and some staining affecting some pages in each volume. Small areas of loss but nothing serious.
