Kubota Beisen (1852-1906) was very well known. He travelled to and exhibited at the Paris Exposition in 1889 where he won a gold medal. He also went to the Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893 and taught himself to incorporate some Western perspectives in his art.
In very good original condition with only minor wear.
