A single issue of Wirgman's fascinating monthly magazine. The month is not mentioned. Woodblock printed on thick but supple, quality paper. First published in 1862 and all issues before 1883 were woodblock printed. After that, they were printed lithographically. Pre-Meiji issues are hard to find.
In very good condition. Some wear to corners, rear page with wear, some minor chips and a couple of creases.
