A very early and interesting set of books showing wonderful woodblock printed images of Paris, famous historical figures, and events in Western history.
In folding case. Almost fine condition. The only faults being the first volume has a hand written title slip. There are a few tiny worm trails in volumes 1 and 5. Also one small, concentrated area of worming inside the rear cover of volume 5 that only affects the lower margin of a couple of pages (see second last picture). Otherwise almost fine.
