Very rare and interesting rangaku book with high quality colour woodblock prints of various militaria with their descriptions in Dutch and Japanese. The title in Japanese is 'Seiyo Heigaku Kunmo'.
Dated Ansei 4 (1857). This particular book lists no author but it was written by Nakanishi Kiichiro of Tsu Domain (present day Mie prefecture).

Complete in 1 volume. Covers worn. Old worm holes repaired and don't detract from the beauty and rarity of this book. General age wear.
