Large, Woodblock Printed Map of Newly-Opened Port of Yokohama by Gyokuransai Sadahide (Hashimoto)
[Japan] A superb, large, woodblock printed map of Yokohama by Sadahide (1807-79). This is one of the earliest maps of Yokohama as it was published the year of the opening of the port in 1859. The quality, size and detail are impressive. This one in an old box with the title also written on the box.
