The Numismatic & Philatelic Journal of Japan (1st six issues) by H. A. Ramsden

[Japan]. Bound volume of six issues (Vol. 1 Nos. 1-6) of Ramsden's pioneering, illustrated monthly journal on stamps and coins in the Far East. Ramsden married the sister of Jun Kobayakawa who published the journal with Ramsden. Sadly, Ramsden died in 1915 at just 45 years old so the journal was short-lived.

Yokohama. Kobayakawa Shokai. January to June 1913.

Total approx. 240pp and 13 numbered plates plus ads. 22.7 x 15cm.

Bound in contemporary boards. Minor wear to covers mostly at edges. Internally very good with only minor wear. Each cover has area at far left where tape once was probably before being bound.
