Woodblock Printed Book of Japanese Place Names in English with the names of the old provinces
[Japan]. Interesting little book from the early days of Japan's romaji days when a system of rendering Japanese words into English letters was still developing. Also lists the names of the twelve zodiac animals. The author was Hashizume Kanichi and the Japanese title is, 'Eiji Santai - Dai Nihon Kuni Zukushi'.

In very good condition. Covers worn and rear cover with some worm trails that only affect the outer covering and not the paper under. One tiny worm trail affecting the edges of a few pages at the end.
